Trick & Tips: Movement

 In Trick & Tips

In this post we show you the right behavior to get an optimal face scan with ObiScanner.
In particular, we will analyse how the patient should move move in order to avoid artifacts on the resulting 3D model.

Correct movement

To obtain a correct and well-defined 3D model, you need to scan the face with a smooth movement and not too fast.

Trick & Tips: Movement

—- Ideal brightness and positioning.

Fast movement

If you perform a face scan with quick movements, you might get an undefined 3D model of the patient’s face with a black artifact on the nose area.

Trick & Tips: Movement

—- Ideal brightness and positioning.

—- Fast movement of the patient.

Snap movement

Performing a face scan with a snap motion results in a blurry, poorly defined 3D model of the patient’s face.

Trick & Tips: Movement

—- Ideal brightness and positioning.

—- Snap movement of the patient.
